Join The Linked 4 Life Movement

Please link together with Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ and the Jordan Porco Foundation—one carabiner at a time—as part of our Linked 4 Life movement. Our mission is to link together one pledge, one person, one carabiner at a time, inviting people to speak openly about mental health issues while encouraging listening without judgement, to create safe spaces across the country, connecting with a message of hope to those who need help the most

Take The Pledge

Here’s how to get started:

Create your video pledge. By pledging to be Linked 4 Life you’ll encourage those struggling in silence, especially today’s youth, to reach out and seek the help they need.

It’s easy to take the Linked 4 Life pledge by making your video. You’ll want to follow these instructions.

  1. Select a background of your choice.
  2. Shoot your video in portrait (Selfie-mode) or ask a friend to film you taking the pledge. Then return the favor.
  3. Share your video with all of your social media followers. Be sure to tag @linked.4.life and use the #Linked4Life hashtag. In your post, please include a special message of hope for your followers and ask your followers to also take the pledge.

Want to be featured on our social media campaign? To submit your video click here. We’ll review your video, provide any feedback, and send you the social media-ready version of your video to also share*.

* The first 500 people will be mailed a free Linked 4 Life carabiner!

Linked 4 Life Pledge

I will speak up.
I will listen.
I will reach out.
I will help someone.
Because I matter.
You matter.
You are not alone.
We are stronger together.
We’ll uplift each other.
We’ll break the silence.
We’ll stand up against stigma. We’ll share our stories.
We’ll link together, connected in hope, Linked 4 Life.
