Artist Statement: I decided to create a lavender field for a few reasons. The first reason is because lavender often is used to help promote calmness. Finding ways to calm your body and minimize stressors is extremely important with mindfulness and taking care of your mental health. Additionally, I wanted to create something that represents nature. I always find flower fields to be a relaxing and peaceful environment.
