Artist Statement: This piece captures the transition from summer to fall as the colors begin to develop on the trees of the mountains.. As an artist living in Black Mountain, NC. I've seen firsthand the impact of Hurricane Helene and I hope that through Art4Hope: Asheville we can uplift and support our fellow artists as they work towards rebuilding their lives.
