Artist Statement: Grizzly bear other and cubs at Brooks Falls Alaska.  Came across this mother and cubs resting on the river bank.  Like most mothers, bear mothers not only have to provide security and nourishment for their babes but also have to make sure they get enough food for themselves to last through the long Alaska winters.
