Artist Statement: Watercolor on paper.
I started learning watercolor painting at the age of 7 with my grandmother, who was an expert artist in that medium. She taught me various techniques, and ever since, I’ve fallen in love with painting, finding in it a place of escape.

For the last 7 years, birds have been my primary focus. They fascinate me with their wild patterns and unique behaviors, especially during their mating rituals. Since they’re hard to spot in the wild, birdwatching feels a bit like hunting—except the memories are the trophies. Because they’re so elusive, I started painting them so I could watch and enjoy their beauty whenever I wanted and share it with the world.
